About the role:

Dashlane is looking for a Senior People Partner in our Paris office. You will be the French HR expert in the company and work with a global team, including SVP and Head of People in Boston and peers in New York and Lisbon. You will work on a wide variety of topics at both the strategic and tactical level, solving complex organizational challenges and ensuring that solutions are legally compliant and meet business needs. You are comfortable challenging and advising senior leaders as well as supporting the needs of individual contributors. You understand how to partner effectively with a CSE. You build trust and strengthen relationships with all employees with your expertise and your reliability, and ensure that the Paris office is a thriving hub where Dashlaners perform, learn, and support each other.

Location:

You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday as the company day where we collaborate in the office and enjoy a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding, and a third day of your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international) for individuals who are already legally eligible to work in the European Union.

At Dashlane you will:

  • Contribute to the global People topics, including but not limited to performance management, compensation, benefits, hiring, and development programs
  • Translate the global strategy into local initiatives and act as the leader for the site in Paris, advocating for the unique needs of the Paris team while considering broader business context
  • Prepare for and lead CSE meetings, including the drafting of comprehensive meeting minutes. Assist the CSE in basic operations, reporting, and procedures, and advise the President of Dashlane SAS and the SVP, People on their involvement with the CSE.
  • Engage on issues of organizational design, process, and workflows in order to help teams operate more effectively. Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex. Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond the scope of the People team.
  • Prepare various French HR-related documents as necessary, including but not limited to, employment and contractor agreements, termination agreements, etc. Ensure these documents comply with local laws and corporate guidelines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the Legal department as needed/required.
  • Coach managers to lead their teams effectively, from hiring the best people to motivating, developing, and recognizing them through superior influencing skills. Build relationships with them and offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide responsive support to any Dashlaner reaching out to ask questions, offer feedback, brainstorm a situation, etc.
  • Support the global strategy locally in areas including career planning, performance management, coaching, diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, recognition, data analysis, compliance, and support for escalating payroll questions.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support the recruiting process and interviewers to ensure we evaluate candidates effectively and hire the best Dashlaners.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years People / HR experience / French Employment Law
  • 3+ years working with a CSE or works counsel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French

We're Also Looking For:
