JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Inventory Specialist – Intern                          DATE: 04/02/2026

SUPERVISOR TITLE: Supply Chain Supervisor               STATUS:  Non-exempt     

DEPARTMENT:  Holiday Support Facility                        SALARY: $22.00 hr.

JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring proper stock control, and supporting operational efficiency.

This role plays a key part in monitoring inventory movement, conducting audits, and collaborating with various teams to ensure materials and products are available when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Supply Chain Activities
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory records in the system
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and issuing materials as needed
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory systems or ERP software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse COLD & HOT temperature
