The Role

As Fetch grows, we are to expand our expertise with an Operations Analyst, Manager. In this role, you will be solving some of Fetch’s toughest problems in the scan-and-match space, identifying elegant and creative solutions to thorny challenges. You’ll be working on and managing a small team of other analysts, and embedded in the software development lifecycle of 2-3 teams across Fetch. Success in this role requires the ability to independently take on challenging problems & develop scalable solutions.

In your tool kit

  • Analytics-tailored SQL skills: writing optimized queries & navigating complex data sets
  • Problem solving: demonstrated abstract problem solving skills, including solving challenges in unique ways
  • Effective communication: translating technical issues to non-technical team members
  • Collaboration with software development teams: gathering & communicating software requirements & projecting the impacts of proposed solutions
  • Managing a team: identifying the strengths and growth opportunities for individuals on your team and facilitating strategies in further develop those individuals

The ideal candidate:

  • Analytics & data manipulation tools: SQL, R, Python, etc.
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Visualization & reporting: we use Grafana & Tableau
  • Experience working with product information in an e-commerce setting
  • Analytics models: DBT, Airflow, etc
  • Advanced forecasting skills: statistical & other predictive techniques
  • Git & version control
  • Experience in a player/ coach role: You can mentor and guide a team but are still willing and able to get in the weeds
