The Difference You Make:
The CIB - Business Control & Operations, IC6 operates within the First Line of Defense and is accountable to assist the Business Control & Risk Management team on driving effective and consistent business line execution against the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Specifically, the Sr. Analyst works to identify, assess for key risks throughout the assigned business line by, driving business unit compliance with applicable risk frameworks/policies and standards. The Sr. Analyst will become a subject matter expert and assist with completion of business line risk initiatives, as assigned, such as risk assessments, KRI/KPI development and monitoring, and on-time remediation of issues. The incumbent must be able to effectively partner with various stakeholders.

  • Drive Risk Culture: Ensure awareness in the Business Line of risk frameworks, policies and standards.
  • Communication & Training: A point of contact for receipt and distribution of risk related information between SLoD risk teams and Business Lines. Maintain two way communications with SLoD. Facilitate training for Business Lines to provide awareness of risk frameworks, policies, programs, processes, etc.
  • Adherence to Risk Frameworks, Policies, and Standards: Assist with Business Line awareness of and adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and standards through internal control testing and issue validation, Report and escalate exceptions and facilitate Business Line corrective actions.
  • Issue Identification, Management, and Risk Assessment – Conduct RCSA responsibilities including Process Mapping, Risk & Control Matrices, Inherent Risk Assessments, Internal Control testing and Heracles data/input.
  • Internal Control Testing: Implement and maintain internal control testing and control effectiveness monitoring in the Business Line. Validate the adequacy of controls, escalate deficiencies as appropriate. Identify root causes of control deficiencies/weaknesses and take appropriate action to ensure Business Lines remediate and prevent recurrence.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 3+ Years Risk Management - Required.
  • 3+ Years Banking Industry - Preferred.
  • Developing knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance, industry regulations and regulatory data sources required.
  • Knowledge and working understanding of additional auditing standards, theories, concepts, and terms (including Sarbanes-Oxley, COBIT and the COSO Integrated Control Framework).
  • Issue management experience (validation, mapping to controls, remediation planning, tracking and reporting). .
  • Knowledge and experience with IT risk management and use of control frameworks.
  • Control testing experience.
  • Operational Risk Management Experience.
  • Experience working with metric stream.
  • Experience in gap or risk analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results.
  • Demonstrable evidence of stakeholder management.
  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Self starter, able to establish relationships and transcend multiple cross-functional/divisional boundaries, largely unaided.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$60,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$100,000.00 USD
