About the Role

Being a part of Infobip’s Engineering Powerhouse means building in-house products at a global scale. As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our RCS platform, you’ll work on one of Infobip’s most strategic product areas, enabling enterprises to access rich communication technologies through scalable, reliable, and easy-to-use cloud solutions.

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the next generation of SMS, combining the trusted reach of mobile operators with the interactivity of apps. It allows brands to engage customers through rich, interactive messaging experiences, going far beyond plain text. On this team, your work will impact thousands of enterprise customers worldwide, powering critical business communications every day.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding product area, contributing to the SaaS infrastructure, customer onboarding, integrations, security, and feature development of Infobip’s RCS offering.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot your team’s services with full ownership of your code.

• Write well-designed, testable, and scalable code following clean code principles.

• Understand the interactions and dependencies across the platform and contribute to system architecture discussions.

• Work autonomously on challenging tasks while collaborating closely with your team.

• Grow your full stack skills, working primarily on backend development while also touching frontend, databases, system design, and monitoring tools.

• Participate in agile practices such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives with your Product Manager.

• Proactively suggest improvements to architecture, service design, and engineering processes.

• Continuously expand your knowledge through internal learning and the broader engineering community.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Mid or senior professional looking for a high-growth technical challenge.

• Hands-on experience with Java 1.8+ and Spring/Spring Boot development.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with concurrent and multi-tier applications.

• Recognizes the value of code reviews and testing (unit, integration).

• Good understanding of RESTful services.

• Collaborative, curious, and committed to engineering excellence.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary, or similar.

• Understanding of databases and messaging systems: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or others.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks: React, Vue.js, Node.js.

• Exposure to collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, Slack.

• Openness to adopting, implementing, or proposing new technologies.

• Experience with modern stacks: Kotlin, Go, Groovy, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, etc.
