Boeing Commercial Airplanes(BCA) is seeking an Experienced Aircraft Machinist (Level C) to support the Fabrication Program in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shift!
Position Responsibilities:
Operates 3 & 5 Axis machines, manual mill & manual Lathes.
Loads tools, performs set-ups on all machines.
Follows general instructions, reads and interprets complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts as required using manual and CNC machines.
Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry.
Assists the team in resolving issues and completing job responsibilities.
Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be able to work variable shifts; including day, evening, night and weekends.
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting machine code data (MCD).
3+ years of experience operating 3/5 axis CNC machines & manual lathe.
3+ years of experience in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
3+ years of Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, electrical schematics, and reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.
3+ years of experience setting up and fixtures, operating, and programming CNC machines, i.e. with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
3+ years of experience setting up NC/CNC machines, including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Relocation:
