Summary:

The Value Analysis Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of a system-wide Value Analysis program, with the goal of delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and clinically appropriate outcomes. This role ensures a standardized and streamlined approach for product, service, and equipment evaluation, selection, and utilization across the organization. The Manager collaborates closely with physicians, clinicians, and key stakeholders to conduct product research, evaluate new technologies, and facilitate the decision-making process for product and service adoption. The position plays a critical role in balancing clinical quality, patient safety, and financial stewardship to achieve optimal value.

Responsibilities:

Plans, monitors, and facilitates the implementation of new, substitute, or replacement products and services following an approved decision process and establishes ongoing monitoring to assess performance post-implementation.Provides alignment with physicians, clinicians, educators, and stakeholders by developing proactive strategies that support and advance organizational initiatives and goals.Supports workgroups in the development of business plans, work plans, deliverables, savings estimates, and defined outcomes for initiatives with targeted completion dates. Participates in supply chain strategic planning to identify cost savings, standardization opportunities, and contract optimization. Collaborates with the Strategic Sourcing team to ensure effective execution of both clinical and non-clinical initiatives.Follows MHS accreditation, regulatory, guidelines, policies and standards related to Supply Chain as well as stakeholder departments.Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the development, implementation, and adherence to Value Analysis policies, procedures, and related guidelines.Collaborates and partners across all areas of Supply Chain and demonstrates the use of effective processes that incorporate feedback, suggestions, and stakeholder participation to drive continuous improvement.Provides leadership and direction in collaboration with colleagues to advance a proactive Supply Chain Value Analysis model. Oversees the introduction, evaluation, analysis, education, conversion, and ongoing tracking of products, services, and equipment within assigned areas of responsibility.Supports Memorial Healthcare System’s participation in GPOs, clinical task forces, and advisory boards, while facilitating relationships to optimize organizational value from Value Analysis initiatives. Promotes continuous self-improvement and professional development to ensure optimal performance, and maintains Value Analysis education and training programs to support system-wide adoption and compliance.Upholds service excellence standards by anticipating and meeting customer needs, while fostering an environment of open communication with all colleagues. Maintains effective communication and builds strong partnerships through consistent rounding and regularly scheduled meetings with assigned stakeholders.

Equivalent work experience may substitute for education requirement. Equivalency for degree: Associate's degree plus five (5) years' experience or High School diploma plus seven (7) years' experience.
