The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company's strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.

 

Job Description:

Functions:

  • Issuance, modification, and cancellation of bank guarantees, insurance bonds, and American bonding.
  • Analysis of the pipeline of the businesses to forecast the needs for these kind of guarantees.
  • Analysis of construction and concession agreements to understand the characteristics of the guarantees necessary for the proper development of projects.
  • Negotiation of financial and contractual conditions of bank guarantee and insurance bonds lines with national and international entities.
  • Maintaining a smooth relationship with banks, insurance companies and Ferrovial group businesses.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for the boards of directors of the companies.
  • Preparation of reports for audits of Ferrovial group companies.
  • Reconciliation of bank commissions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Treasury/Finance Departments of large companies or banks/insurance companies.
  • Previous knowledge and experience in the area  of bank guarantees, insurance bonds and american bonding, etc.
  • Proficiency in the Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) is a plus.
  • High level of English (C1).
  • Experience in the infrastructure and/or energy sector is a plus.
  • Proactivity, autonomy, and decision-making ability.
