Job Description:

Position Title:                  Database Project Coordinator

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Database and Analytics Manager, the Database Project Coordinator oversees database upkeep, maintenance, and user support for Tessitura across Crystal Bridges and the Momentary. This position is responsible for scheduling and testing Tessitura software version updates, troubleshooting user questions, and creating new user accounts. This role will develop and maintain internal Tessitura documentation to ensure that processes and procedures are current and meet ongoing business needs. The Database Project Coordinator will work closely with other departments across Crystal Bridges and the Momentary to ensure proper training materials are available for onboarding and ongoing professional development.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Tessitura, internal departments, and IT to implement system upgrades and service packs (monthly) 
  • Create database training documentation for onboarding new staff as well as ongoing training materials for professional development across departments to improve database literacy and competence 
  • Serve as liaison for Tessitura equipment management (ticket scanning devices, payment processors, kiosk) with primary department users in guest services and box office 
  • Oversee user management including creating new accounts, answering help desk questions, and maintaining users’ access and permissions

Additional Responsibilities
 

  • Assist with creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards across departments and venues 
  • Assist with the development of data entry SOPs and their implementation across users
  • Support ongoing interdepartmental data sharing and workflow management for ticketing 

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Training, and Traits

In regard to education and experience, an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will satisfy the minimum requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and listening communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate technical data to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple short and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

Work Experience

  • 3+ years prior experience using Tessitura required
  • Prior experience writing documentation for CRM systems preferred
