JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Responsibilities: *

·Manage P&L and/or other commitments to Plan.  Meet or exceed sales and margin commitments within scope of role (i.e., line of business, area, function) to the corporation.  Balance short-term and long-term priorities. 

·Develop short and long term sales, marketing and other business plans.   Translate global strategies into specific action plans, and then drive execution and continuously monitor performance

·Attract, develop and retain industry’s best talent within a line of business or business function.

·Drive accountability for outcomes and assure development of a talent pipeline for critical positions within their scope.  Build a high performing, cohesive team. 

·Define long-range strategic focus for an area, a line of business, or business function, and ensure that plan objectives are achieved. 

·Establish or re-establish clear market leadership across affiliates, products, and brands under changing conditions.

·Develop an externally focused, customer and consumer-centric organization using insights to choose the right strategies for growth.

·Manage competitive business landscape to consistently deliver profitable growth in a business line or area.

·Set clear priorities for the line of business, geography or function.  Focus effort, resources, and capacity on those critical few projects with the highest potential payoff, and away from projects having fewer payoffs.

·Balance personal accountability with the reality of working through others in the function or line of business and holding them accountable for commitments.

·Turn around under-performing or failing territory/district/region.  Take on and succeed with assignments where risks and opportunities are high. 

·Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and an ability to influence them to achieve growth. Overcome obstacles.

Work across organization and build multi-functional support for increasingly larger and more complex projects with greater impact to the business. Experience that demonstrates clear ability to lead those without a direct reporting relationship.

Skills & Experience Required:*

Minimum Education

Graduate from a reputed institute; MBA from a reputed institute desirable

Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • 12-15 years of total experience required, of which 4-5 years in sales and/or marketing senior leadership

  • Prior experience in leading a cross functional team.

  • Prior experience in an Asian country of similar market dynamics.

  • Prior experience in pharma / healthcare / consumer healthcare industry preferred.

  • Ideal candidate to have hands-on understanding of the Taiwan Hospital landscape and the Pharmacy Market.

  • Experience in Oncology or related specialty fields and launching new products in Taiwan is an added advantage.
