About the Job

As the Field Marketing Manager for Tipalti in the UK & EU region, you will play a critical role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales growth through targeted field marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and executing in-person, digital events, and other field-based marketing activities tailored to regional audiences. A significant part of this role also involves collaborating with strategic partners to co-host events, manage partner relationships, and build collaborative marketing programs that amplify Tipalti's reach within the region.

This role reports to the Director of Field Marketing, and will be based in our Amsterdam office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic field marketing plan that aligns with Tipalti's regional objectives for lead generation, brand building, and sales enablement.
  • Plan and execute a mix of in-person and virtual 3rd party events including industry events, tradeshows, ERP conferences and user groups, etc, in order to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our existing customer & partner relationships
  • Work closely with the partnerships team to identify, develop, and execute joint marketing programs with strategic partners.
  • Help with the planning and execution of co-branded partner events and support joint marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination and consistent brand messaging.
  • Align closely with sales teams to understand pipeline needs and ensure marketing efforts directly support revenue goals.
  • Design and implement lead-generation campaigns, including ABM (Account-Based Marketing) initiatives, to drive pipeline growth.
  • Attend and manage 3rd party sponsor event programs, including implementation of a pre-event strategy and post-event follow up both internally 
  • Monitor and report on the performance of field marketing campaigns and events, tracking metrics such as engagement, leads, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure marketing messages and materials are tailored to the unique needs and preferences of UK and EU audiences.
  • Manage the field marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective planning and optimisation of resources.
  • Track expenses, negotiate vendor contracts, and maintain accountability for staying within budget limits.

About you

  • 3-5 years years of experience in field marketing and/or event marketing
  • Experience working at a B2B technology company, preferably SaaS
  • Must be able to travel within Europe
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
  • Detail oriented and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Strategic and outcome-oriented mindset in the planning and execution of a high-impact marketing plan
  • Technical skills in Asana, Salesforce, Splash, Marketo, and 6Sense would be an asset

Unique aspects of this role

  • Travel:  
    • Overnight travel anticipated (30%)
  • Schedule:
    • Normal workweek business hours within geographic location and time zone.
    • May require flexibility to coordinate schedules across time zones with internal teams and external customers and contacts.
  • Physical aspects:
    • Position is located onsite/in-office three days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays)
    • Prolonged sitting and/or standing at workstation.
    • Prolonged computer and/or telephone usage.
