Role Structure

• Job Title: Commercial Excellence & Training Leader – Latin America
• Direct Report: VP & General Manager Latin America

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Execution and Standards:

• Drive the adoption of structured sales processes and methodologies across Latin America;
• Elevate the quality of opportunity development (problem definition, solution alignment, and value articulation);
• Strengthen pipeline quality and conversion rates in partnership with sales leadership.

Training and Continuous Capability Development:

• Lead and sustain ongoing commercial capability development integrated into daily workflows (moving away from one-off/isolated training sessions);
• Adapt global programs to Latin American regional needs and introduce new tools and content from headquarters;
• Establish structured learning routines focused on practical application, reinforcement, and impact measurement.

Leadership Enablement and Coaching:

• Empower sales managers with consistent coaching practices and opportunity inspection frameworks;
• Reinforce leadership accountability for team skill development and execution quality.

Tools and Technology Integration:

• Promote the efficient use of commercial systems and practical tools (including AI-enabled solutions, where applicable) in daily routines;
• Align systems, processes, and expected team behaviors.

Performance Management and Metrics:

• Track metrics related to pipeline quality, sales conversion, and training adoption;
• Provide regular insights to regional leadership and connect Commercial Excellence initiatives directly to financial business outcomes.

Key Outcomes

• Increased quality and consistency in opportunity development;
• Higher sales conversion rates and revenue growth;
• Strong consolidation of Commercial Excellence practices across the LATAM region;
• Learning and capability development fully embedded into daily operational routines.

Profile and Requirements

• Practical Experience: Proven track record in sales, sales management, or dedicated Commercial Excellence roles.
• Hands-on Approach: Solid background in training, coaching, and commercial capability development.
• Sales Methodologies: Strong mastery of structured sales methodologies and Value-Based Selling strategies.
• Change Management: Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive regional transformations.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to drive alignment between regional and global teams.
• Mandatory Languages: Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
