Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do...

This team is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience (ADE) etc.. They also deliver a host of functions including procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From building HR chatbots and virtual assistants, to designing invoicing solutions and facilitating legal changes, Business services helps drive efficiency and flexibility across every part of Walmart’s global presence.

Enterprise Business Services @ IDC Bangalore and Chennai in India are focused on data driven, highly optimized products and implementations in the areas of Finance, Procurement, Human Resources and Retail business functions for multiple Walmart markets with open stack technologies and other ERP tools.


What you’ll do:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer science or related field with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science or related field.   
  • Developing and maintaining mobile and web applications using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Analyse defects from past projects/solutions to avoid recurrence of similar defects.
  • Contribute to automated approaches to avoid manual KTLO and repeated tasks.
  • Creating and maintaining a robust and scalable CI/CD pipeline for rapid development and iteration.
  • Be involved in the successful implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives
  • Drive design, development, implementation, documentation and follow agile development process
  • Be a consummate team player with demonstrable ability to learn new Tech stacks/tools with amazing ability to get stuff done.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience on building mobile and web applications.
  • Experience with open-source technology using React.js, React Native, and Node.js to build a front end and mobile experience.
  • Experience with mobile applications automation frameworks/tools such as Appium.
  • Experience designing and implementing full-stack systems of Node.js for back-end driving using React, React Native, Redux.
  • Experience with JavaScript / Python.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks Jest, React testing library.
  • Experience building & deploying IOS & Android applications in app store/play store.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins and GitHub and related build tools such as Maven, Gradle.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to decompose complex challenges into manageable components.
  • Experience with server-side developments and building RESTful APIs in Node.js.
  • Experience working on Docker & Kubernetes with Azure / GCP cloud platforms.
  • Experience with software development cycles including Agile, Scrum, and TDD
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
