As Head of Legal for North Europe & Netherlands within our Legal, Ethics, Business Integrity & Global Security team, you'll lead a team of legal professionals while serving as a strategic business partner to our Specialty Care, General Medicines, and Vaccines business units. Based in Amsterdam, you'll lead a team of four lawyers and a paralegal, partnering with business leaders to advance our mission of chasing the miracles of science to improve people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing legal team across North Europe, serving as strategic partner to business unit leaders for Specialty Care, General Medicines, and Vaccines

• Establish and execute legal strategy for the North Europe MCO, including Clinical Study Units and Manufacturing & Supply sites across the region

• Provide strategic counsel on complex matters including advertising & promotion, competition law, healthcare regulations, and IP protection

• Monitor legal and regulatory trends, proactively advising business leaders on risks and opportunities that impact strategy

• Manage high-stakes litigation and external counsel relationships cost-effectively across the Netherlands and North Europe MCO

• Represent Sanofi Legal to external stakeholders including government bodies and industry associations

• Champion AI and technology-enabled legal practice, coaching your team to leverage data tools for enhanced quality and efficiency

• Serve on the Key Markets Legal Leadership Team, driving continuous innovation and development of the legal function

About You

• Experience: 15+ years of pharmaceutical legal experience, combining in-house and/or law firm roles with deep expertise in pharma regulations

• Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, build, and motivate legal teams while serving as a passionate ambassador for the legal function

• Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with ability to balance legal risk management and commercial objectives

• Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence across international matrix organizations

• Technology Forward: Genuine passion for AI-enabled legal practice and modern, evidence-based approaches to legal work

• Education: Dutch Law degree required

• Languages: Fluent Dutch and English required; French is a plus

La fourchette salariale pour ce poste est:€127 200,00 - €190 800,00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
