About the Team… 
Our Global Tech & Data Compliance team is at the forefront of Walmart’s commitment to customer trust. We manage global privacy policies, controls, and monitoring, ensuring compliance across retail, sourcing, and marketplace operations. We collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to implement effective risk mitigation strategies, foster a culture of integrity, and continuously enhance our processes to meet new privacy challenges across the digital landscape.

What you'll do...

  • Lead the implementation of privacy compliance programs, ensuring alignment with global and domestic privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret privacy regulations, identifying compliance gaps and driving corrective action.
  • Develop and update privacy policies and standard operating procedures in partnership with leadership.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and regulatory trend analysis to support business strategy and forecasting.
  • Collect, analyze, and report compliance data, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional privacy initiatives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting accountability and continuous learning.

What You’ll Bring…
  • Proven experience in privacy compliance, data protection, or regulatory compliance roles.
  • Strong background in policy development, compliance training, and risk analysis.
  • Expertise in privacy auditing, gap analysis, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in privacy frameworks, compliance risk management, and project leadership.
  • Adaptability to changing regulations and a proactive approach to legislative trends.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing teams and fostering a culture of integrity and learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
