About the Role
Drives the project team to successfully implement the company's strategic targets and operational goals with Simpler, Faster, More Connected and Agile solutions
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to senior management on the planning of department initiatives including allocating resources, identifying potential risks, and setting up expected project deliverables.
- Leads dynamic project team members to work on the full cycle of project execution to ensure the smooth and timely delivery on project objectives with simpler, faster, more connected, and agile solutions.
- Interacts with end users, confirms business requirements, and user stories with relevant acceptance criteria.
- Monitors overseas operation service team’s work efficiency and quality, which may include on-site business visits.
- Ensures the project team follows company guidelines and regulatory requirements, and obtains necessary licenses for regulated activities.
- Organizes and monitors periodic audits on a need basis.
- Leads the project team, maintains a positive and cooperative team spirit, delivers training on subject matter expertise to different parties.
- Collaborates with the project team using an agile project management approach, plans, and guides project processes, encourages and supports project team members to promote closer working relationships, knowledge transfer, share potential challenges, and coordinate efforts to resolve difficult or time-consuming issues.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience (preferably in insurance, computer science, and business fields) with a minimum of 7 years of working experience in insurance companies.
- Excellent communication, ability to manage relationships with various parties, and strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring, guiding, and ensuring project advancement.
- Excellent command of spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Strong analytical abilities, ability to develop effective solutions efficiently, and prioritizes customer satisfaction in decision making and daily activities.
- Proactively offers streamlined, efficient, and interconnected solutions with a focus on building and managing relationships.
