Are you interested in working with exceptional people in a high-performing team environment with some of the world’s largest corporations and leading governments to help solve and address some of society’s most complex sustainability and climate-related impacts, risks, and opportunities?
We are Guidehouse, a leading multinational and multi-disciplinary consulting firm serving the public sector and commercial clients with specialized capabilities in strategy, technology, and risk management. You may not know our name yet, but we have a rich history. Guidehouse is a combination of PwC’s former US public sector practice and Navigant’s deep expertise in energy, sustainability, financial services, and healthcare. We are proud of our sustainability advisory heritage, being one of the very first consultancies focused on sustainability and climate change (as Ecofys) and delivering impact on developing policy, regulation, and global methodologies, such as SBTi, PCAF, Supplier LoCT and Fashion PACT.
Being a $5.3bn private equity-backed firm, we have experienced rapid growth and our investors continue pursuing exciting exponential growth ambitions. This ongoing investment creates opportunities for our people to develop and gain multi-disciplinary exposure within a culture of entrepreneurship, creativity, and collaboration between our global practices.
We offer an exciting, fast-paced environment that fosters intellectual growth and rewards individuals based on impact, not tenure. We focus on markets facing transformational change, technology-driven innovation, and significant regulatory pressure. Our consultants develop and deploy world-class knowledge and problem solving that leads to breakthrough solutions.
What You Will Do:
Our Sustainability team works with companies and government agencies to achieve sustainability, including deep decarbonization, climate resilience and positive social impact. We help clients navigate the complex world of climate change, sustainability regulation, shifting consumer preferences, and the energy transition to achieve sustainable and profitable products, processes, business models, and services. We apply and advise on leading frameworks such as Science-Based and Net-Zero Targets, CSRD, TNFD, TCFD, and create innovative digital, programmatic, and financial solutions with our clients. Our team works with all Guidehouse’s segments, including financial services, energy providers, life sciences, and government.
As a member of our team, you will work with various international clients across different industries on their sustainability and climate journeys. Assignments may include defining sustainability strategies and targets, measuring sustainability impacts, and developing and implementing programmes to, for instance, abate greenhouse gas emissions or develop new products & services – all to drive real-world impact. Our approach and indeed a differentiating factor in how we serve our clients is to combine advisory, strategy, and implementation support by collaborating and partnering with our them to achieve their goals and objectives. We also help clients navigate the mandatory and voluntary sustainability reporting landscape including CDP, TNFD, ISSB, CSRD and other relevant standards. Project teams are staffed interdisciplinary, across borders and client industries to deliver most value to our clients. In this role, you will learn, be challenged, and develop skills at a fast pace. You will contribute to complex projects and will learn about project management by managing smaller projects or workstreams as you enhance your holistic consulting skills. Further, in addition to hands-on experience, our inhouse training programme will teach you the diverse skills you need to succeed. You are expected to transition rapidly into a professional sustainability consultant.
What You Will Need:
You combine a strong drive to deliver client results with analytical skills and a passion for and understanding of sustainability issues and/or decarbonization and climate change.
