The Immunohistochemistry Lab, one of the largest in world, is looking to add a full-time, evening shift Histotechnologist to their exceptional team. This team is vital to patients receiving world-class care and is committed to getting their jobs completed for patients in the fastest, safest, and highest quality way possible. As a Histotechnologist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Performing routine and developmental immunohistochemistry and molecular laboratory techniques.
Analyzing and evaluating assays for sensitivity and specificity.
Embedding and preparing sections for various procedures.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
Has a bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry or a related field. If not, you must meet the CLIA qualifications for a Histotechnologist.
Has Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification, or is certification eligible, by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Has laboratory experience from an accredited Histotechnology school or one year of prior histology lab experience.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and critical thinking skills.
Thrives in a team environment.
