Key Responsibilities
Assist technicians with basic automotive tasks
Perform shop cleanup and organization
Help with tire changes, oil services, and basic inspections
Maintain tools and equipment (cleaning, organizing, returning items)
Assist the parts department with organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and retrieving parts for technicians
Help track and label parts as needed
Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines
Support team members with general shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled at Ft. Hayes Vocational school through Columbus City Schools
Interest in automotive repair or mechanics
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Skills
Basic mechanical aptitude (preferred, not required)
Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds
Attention to detail
Good communication skills

Students will need to provide all applicable minor work permit paperwork including parental permission.
Students need to be able to provide their own transportation.
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
