The Role
As a Manager, Billing & Expense, you will have responsibilities covering all aspects of billing and expense operations supporting client and fund fee processes. You will work closely with associates across the business and act as a primary contact for daily operational needs, while providing direction, leadership, and support in collaboration with partners across the organization. The role requires expertise in monthly and quarterly deliverables, business performance evaluation, and stakeholder management.
This role is an individual contributor position at the manager level and requires a hands-on approach to executing complex billing activities, including management and performance fee calculations, while helping to enhance processes and controls.
In addition to operational responsibilities, you will contribute to improving workflows, supporting key initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams including Fund Accounting, Institutional Client Services, Corporate Accounting, and more.

The Team
The Billing & Expense Team is part of the Fund Operations division within Fidelity's Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit. The Fund Operations division provides back office operational support to Fidelity Retail and Institutional products, including books and records maintenance, securities' pricing, fund and security level performance analysis, financial reporting, and tax work. The Billing & Expense Team is responsible for client billing and fund-related fee processes, including management and performance fee calculations. The team supports monthly and quarterly deliverables, ensuring accurate invoicing, strong controls, and efficient operations across products and stakeholders.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
