Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive the Industrialization projects related to Bushing products including footprint and tooling adaptation.
• Support the manufacturing units from preparation to execution of CAPEX investment plan ensuring the alignment with the PT strategy for that product.
• Lead the approval process of CAPEX projects and track the execution of the projects in accordance with the premises approved.
• Drive the standardization in the manufacturing processes for Bushing products leading the local industrial teams in the development of manufacturing procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

Propose a global strategy for the plants and coordinate key actions in order to

• Lead the CAPEX approval process for the units dedicated to Bushing products ensuring the alignment with PT strategy.
• Lead the development and revision of existing manufacturing documents. Coordinate the deployment of standard manufacturing processes in the units with definition of training and coaching where is necessary. Perform regular audits to identify deviations and support the units to implement the standard process defined.
• Build the industrial expert community for Bushings to actively work as one team and identify best practices, share lessons learned and systematically update the standard documents as per process improvements. Follow up the implementation of best practices across the units and support technical challenges in the implementation of the new process.
• Support units for manufacturing optimization and product strategy decisions including footprint adaptation projects, transfer of technology, capacity studies, Make or Buy Initiatives, Localization, Offshoring of parts, NPIs, Cost Out Initiatives, Design for Manufacturing, etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) events to identify and implement further process standardizations.
• Brings his industrial experience & expertise   in term of drying process & oil filing to support others PT units using  these processes not for bushing products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering from an accredited university or College, or equivalent experience.
• Significant proven experience in industrialization and manufacturing processes of Bushing products.

Desired Characteristics

• Specific knowledge

- Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes of Bushings.

- Strong knowledge in drying and impregnation principles.

- Basic Knowledge for design principles of Bushings

- Lean principles and tools.

- Project Management principles and tools.

• Other

- Experience with MES/ERP systems and advanced analytics tool.

- Experience in maintenance management systems.

- Capable of Coordinating cross functional initiative across the BL with key stakeholders.

- Capable of influencing and driving change.

- Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills.

- Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus.

- Team player.

- Results oriented.

- Autonomous.

- Willingness to travel internationally.
