We continue to evolve over time and your scope of responsibility will grow and shift, but you’ll initially support this team
  • Partner closely with Product to balance new product developments with technical investments to set the teams up for long-term success
  • Review and coach engineers on architecture proposals. Challenge the team’s approach on reliability, performance, security, and maintainability. Facilitate over-arching architecture decisions across teams and systems
  • Be accountable for project delivery and the software development lifecycle within the team you manage
  • Trust but verify: raise the bar on testing and quality alongside your team of engineers
  • Co-create career plans with your team that align with aspirations and team needs
  • Propose and implement improvements to ways of working through 1:1 qualitative feedback and quality & velocity metrics
  • Coordinate incident response by pulling in the right engineers and communicating with our stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of strong accountability, empowerment, and customer love in your team
