Job Summary:

The Student Success Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting students' academic, personal, spiritual, and professional growth. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing programs and services designed to enhance student success, retention, and graduation rates. The coordinator will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and implement programs and initiatives that support student retention and success, including workshops, seminars, and peer mentoring programs.
  • Academic Support Services: Coordinate academic support services such as tutoring, study groups, and skill-building workshops. Collaborate with faculty to identify students in need of additional support.
  • Student Outreach: Conduct outreach to at-risk students through email, phone, and face-to-face meetings to provide support and resources. Monitor student progress and intervene as necessary.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to student performance, retention, and satisfaction. Prepare reports and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
  • Collaboration and Advocacy: Work with various campus departments, including admissions, financial aid, and career services, to ensure a holistic approach to student success. Advocate for student needs and contribute to policy development.
  • Event Planning and Marketing: Organize and facilitate events that promote student engagement, such as orientation programs, success workshops, and social activities.
  • Resource Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive repository of resources and materials to support student success. Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in student retention and success.
  •  Maintain confidentiality
  • Perform duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Occasional travel may be required
