Responsible for the delivery of Sales Application training initiatives and workshops to ensure employees or participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Deliver both virtual and in-person sessions to new and experienced users of sales applications. Responsible for proactively working with stakeholders to identify training gaps and coordinate training as needed. Monitor and report the effectiveness of training of employees. Assist in content design and be involved in classroom. Must be able to master the operational processes, products and system applications taught in the program.

Program Management and Support

  • Works strategically with the DigitalOne team to plan for new releases in all sales applications.
  • Partners with Learning Manager for content development and to keep programs up to date
  • Collaborates with Sales Academy Program Manager to ensure Beacon and Salesforce training the academies is up to date. 
  • Train the Trainers on all new releases for Beacon and Salesforce
  • Analyzes participant evaluations for opportunities to improve
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify GAPs and prescribe training workshops
  • Track ROI on training workshops based on adoption, coaching, production and other results.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.

Certification/License

  • Valid state driver’s license in good standing

Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience in training development and training delivery
  • Cemetery and Funeral industry knowledge not mandatory but preferred
  • Proficient in Beacon and Salesforce not mandatory but preferred
  • Experience developing and conducting sales training and comfortable with public speaking required
  • At least two (2) years developing and motivating sales staff with a record of growing year over year production required
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) not mandatory for role but preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of our core lines of business: Cemetery Operations, Funeral Home Operations, Sales
  • Willingness to effectively identify and coach correct behaviors 
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Works well independently and remotely
  • Communicates effectively with attendees, business stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Competent in the use of technology such as WebEx, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
  • Proficient in sales application systems such as Salesforce
  • Willingness to learn internal systems such as Workday, HMIS, and Beacon
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

WORK CONDITIONS

Work Environment

  • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
  • Local and/or multiple location traveling required
  • Comply with Corporate dress code policy, and when traveling Field dress code policy

Work Postures

  • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
  • Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently

Physical Demands

  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
