Position Highlights:

  • Location: Edward Hospital-Cancer Center 120 Spalding Drive Naperville, IL.
  • Full Time 1.0 FTE
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

What you will do:

  • ​​​​​​​Simulates treatment set-ups, performs dosimetric calculation, and accurately delivers ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist while working under general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology.  Assists in patient care and management.  Adheres to clinical, technical and operational policies and procedures.

What you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology Therapy) certification.  Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within one yearof start date into position.
  • Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure

 

​Preferred:

  • Previous experience with Varian equipment
  • Previous experience with ARIA EMR
