We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer who is passionate about building robust end-to-end testing ecosystems for web-based applications. You will be responsible for introducing formal QA processes, designing automated testing frameworks, and establishing seamless CI/CD integrations to ensure we deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish QA Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive, greenfield QA strategies and standardized testing processes across our products.
Framework Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable automated testing pipelines tailored to our specific product needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to define requirements, project timelines, and modern testing approaches.
CI/CD Integration: Build and maintain automated testing workflows, specifically focusing on establishing GitHub Actions pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
Quality Analytics: Analyze test results, identify critical areas for improvement, maintain transparent quality metrics and reporting for the team.
Process Evolution: Stay current with industry best practices to improve cross-team issue resolution and bug-tracking workflows.
Required Skills:
Software Development Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript, with a focus on building scalable, efficient, and maintainable test codebases.
Automation Frameworks: Extensive experience with modern testing frameworks for writing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases.
Web Automation: High proficiency with modern web automation engines, with a strong preference for Playwright.
DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions, to automate testing within the deployment lifecycle.
Test Management: Familiarity with industry-standard test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience developing automation software for web applications.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills, highly adaptable and proactive.
