Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document and record information

  • Maintain performance numbers while producing good quality product

  • Facilitate press make-ready, run and wash-up

  • Effectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issues

  • Set up and operating the press in an effective and efficient manner

  • Monitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards

  • Demonstrates timely and effective problem solving skills

  • Provides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systems

  • Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals

  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications

  • Ensures that finished product is produced according to customer specifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems

  • Must have competencies/skills in all areas of teamwork, flexibility, stress tolerance, integrity, initiative, problem solving, cross functional awareness, drive, and concern for excellence

  • Printing/Production experience is preferred

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure

  • Ability to be self-directed and multitask

  • Timeliness

  • Must be able to read and follow directions in English

  • Prior Press Operator or assistant experience is preferred

  • Prior Manufacturing experience preferred

  • Prior flexographic printing experience preferred

  • Computer Skills in Internet Explorer, Access and ability to learn PRISM software

  • Physical Requirements;

    o Must be able to successfully complete a color blind test

    o Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    o Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squat

    o Must be able to grasp, push, pull and have fine motor skills

    o Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check

  • Resume containing qualifications is required for further consideration
