The Opportunity
The primary roles of the Business Insights and Forecasting Manager is to support the business objectives of senior leadership and other business partners by developing and managing forecasting models, providing detailed competitive intelligence, and performing market opportunity analyses to bridge insights and analyses to actionable strategy. He/she will take a leadership role in driving market planning activities in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to inform decision making.
The Business Insights and Forecasting manager will also help lead business reviews and drive cross functional projects which will need a thorough understanding of different business areas. He/she will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects. This role involves coordinating people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. He/she will also act as the main point of contact for any project-related issues.
The Business Insights and Forecasting manager will work cross-functionally with commercial leadership, finance, marketing, market access, sales, global marketing and insights, and data analytic teams to inform decision making.
What You’ll Work On
Forecasting: Leverages market knowledge, primary and secondary data, and KPIs to develop short-term and long-term forecasts, commercial opportunity assessments, and uncertainty analyses. Develops and owns Bottom-up and Top-down forecasting models. Develops robust market model projections and scenarios in collaboration with business partners.
Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights: Gather competitive intelligence from external and internal sources. Lead competitive scenario planning workshops to evaluate mitigation strategies. Identify market trends and growth drivers and define their impact on the forecast. Consolidate and share out competitive insights to leadership and broader forums.
Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, coordinate, and manage large cross-functional projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, including timelines, resourcing needs, and budgets. Execute on projects in a timely manner and ensure projects plans are streamlined.
Leading Business Reviews: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for business reviews, including highlighting key priorities and tracking our goals, and surfacing any risks to senior leadership. Need to be knowledgeable of the different aspects of the business to bring a holistic view of the top priorities and issues to senior leadership.
Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on the forecast, projects, business objectives, and the action plans to achieve them
Ad hoc Requests from Leadership: Managing and executing unplanned, immediate tasks that arise within an organization. This role requires flexibility, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Process: Build and establish the Forecast Center of Excellence. Consistently implements all forecasting and analytical protocols, procedures, and standards in a timely manner
Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s performance, actively collaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in around solutions
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management: Track project expenses and ensure the project stays within budget. Adjust budgets as necessary based on project needs and changes.
Leadership: Support an environment of candor; takes accountability

The base pay for this position is
$109,300.00 – $218,500.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
