The Laboratory Department is looking for a Phlebotomist for our Land O'Lakes location. The role is required to perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and clerical duties, in a timely and efficient manner.  Candidates must have a current Phlebotomy certification and Strong computer skills with ability to handle a fast pace work environment with complex thinking processes. Fast phlebotomist with excellent customer service. 

**1 year minimum experience required**

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Perform front office duties (copy insurance cards, print labels for specimens, collect monies from patients, etc)
  • Perform back office duties (work internal billing charges, retrieve results, work error logs, etc)
  • Maintain inventory
  • Ability to utilize all computer systems
  • Perform incidental duties as needed

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Normal physical ability; able to stand for long periods
  • Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Strong team player
  • Phlebotomy Certification required
  • **1 year minimum experience required**
  • Must be willing to travel between multiple locations
