As a Hi Tech Engineer, you serve as technical specialist to Target Team Members: providing one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote support and education for hardware and software.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a high-level of customer service to Target Team Members on a daily basis
• Rapidly resolve hardware, software, educational, and environmental incidents and requests
• Provide preventative maintenance to ensure hardware and software stability
• Coordinate and collaborate with partner support teams to drive issue resolution
• Adhere to and advocate for Target’s Information Security Policies and Best Practices
• Drive continuous improvement with the development of new standards, best practices, and process improvements
• Provide supervision/work direction to contract staff

About You

• BE or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years relevant technical support experience
• Proven troubleshooting ability with macOS and Windows 10
• Good knowledge on mobile devices such as Android OS, iOS, iPadOS
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
• Strong support-minded focus
• Strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with end users, understand their needs, and translate into technology solutions
• Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment; a fast learner, self-starter and highly passionate and motivated individual
• Ability to multi-task
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Positive attitude
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices
