Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of projects by aligning technical solutions with business objectives, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Mentor junior professionals to foster their growth and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing. - Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies. - Experience with integration of SAP modules with other business applications. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively. - Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. -Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP IS-U Billing, Invoicing, and related processes. -Configure SAP IS-U components including Billing & Invoicing, Rate Structure, Schemas, Operand configuration, Billing Master Data. -Support end-to-end billing cycles including meter reading, schedule management, rate determination, billing execution, and invoicing. -Manage and optimize billing schema design, rate revisions, and regulatory updates. -Conduct functional testing (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and production support. -Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration. -Develop or review technical objects such as ABAP reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and function modules related to IS-U billing. -Work with interface technologies such as IDocs, Web Services, BAPIs, RFCs, Middleware (PI/PO or CPI). Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing. - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
