Candidates will work with a modern tech stack on a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud platform that serves users in over 49 countries. The core platform consists of systems housed in a large-scale environment responsible for processing billions of tasks every day. The candidate should have strong leadership ability and bring a passion for software engineering to help shape the direction of the team. Highly sought-after qualities include strong communication skills, versatility, and a desire to continuously learn, improve, and empower other team members. Candidate will support building scalable, highly available, reliable, efficient, and secure cloud solutions for a medical device SaaS.

What You’ll Work On

  • Learn and improve our existing React and Go based health care platforms.
  • Engage in design and implementation of services, features, and components utilizing React, Node and Go.
  • Design and implement highly maintainable unit testable code.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external team members to shape and define API contracts.
  • Work to investigate and resolve complex problems with an eye for improving software maintainability through refactoring.
  • Ensure performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
  • Build out internal tooling and APIs to make business and engineering processes easier, faster, and safer.
  • Collaborate as an engaged member of an Agile team focused on realizing features through development, test, and delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • 1+ year professional software development experience or equivalent internship experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) and backend software development (e.g. Go, Python, Java).
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals
  • Highly motivated to learn new software development languages to meet goals and objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and strong collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React and/or Gol
  • 2+ years professional experience in software development in an Agile environment.
  • Practical knowledge of Linux.
  • Knowledge of or experience with multilanguage support, internationalization, and/or content management systems.

     

The base pay for this position is

$65,900.00 – $131,900.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
