The Role
The UMH Investment Product team is seeking a strong collaborator looking for an excellent opportunity to help define and evolve a strategic product offering for Fidelity Wealth Management! The Director will love working with teams to enhance our investment capabilities and define the future evolution of our investment solution.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.
12+ years of work experience with 5+ years of financial services and 2+ years implementing investment products and services.
FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 65 & 63) required, or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Industry designation(s) such as CFP® and CFA® a plus.
Experience in Managed Accounts/Advisor Led Solutions.
Knowledge and familiarity of High Net Worth wealth offerings and how they are sold and serviced in Fidelity’s retail distribution model.
Product management and development experience required.
Attention to detail with strong project management and prioritization skills.
Motivated to own several initiatives at once.
Synthesizes data from various sources and present analysis, relevant insights, and themes in a simple, understandable way.
Balances business needs with regulatory requirements, negotiating and gaining agreement with Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Encourages, prioritizes, and coordinates delivery across teams, providing strategic mentorship to align efforts while clearly communicating progress, decisions, blockers, and risks to partners.
Self-starter, able to take direction and implement initiatives with little oversight, while also identifying when support or guidance is needed.
Enables the team to rapidly deploy new features for our customers, drive takeaways, and identify additional improvements.
Persists in the face of challenges and maintains a positive, can do demeanor.
Presentation abilities to help achieve agreement with multiple audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The Team
The Managed Solutions Unified Managed Household (UMH) team, a key part of Fidelity Wealth Management, runs and evolves the flagship Managed Account offering. The team is multi-functional with product management, product delivery, content development, investment, and field expertise. We have a high level of collaboration with key partners across Wealth Management, PI Distribution, Strategic Advisers, Financial Solutions, Marketing, and Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Fidelity Wealth’s Customer Insights & Offerings is a newly established function, bringing customer analytics and wealth management offerings even closer together. The team is responsible for understanding the needs and behaviors of Fidelity Wealth’s customers and their families and developing offerings and solutions that meet their needs throughout their lifetime.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
