We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to take on exciting initiatives to support our multi-function Medical Claims Management (MCM) processes.

This position plays a critical role in communicating between multiple claim platform business teams and IT teams to implement solutions (such as tools and automation).

You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative, collaborative team, helping solve problems to meet our deliverables by leveraging data insights to drive decision-making and ensure data and processes are streamlined and accurate.

Key initiatives this year include:

  • Work with MCM subject matter experts and offshore coders to complete multiple in progress automated projects.
  • Identify and solution improvements to current processes to ensure flexibility, sustainability, and data integrity while reducing manual intervention.
  • Complete GCP migration activities within Payment Integrity Automation and Banking (PIAB).  Project must be completed by 9/30/2024.
    • Work directly with various PIAB team members and Data Engineers to complete the development of our GCP data structures; initially partnering with current team members handling this work, then taking over fully.
    • Transition remaining PIAB staff from Hadoop to GCP; ensure successful access to GCP, assist in trouble shooting access issues and query questions and issues.
    • Manage the completion of migrating Hadoop queries to Big Query as a liaison between PIAB and Data Engineers; initially partnering with current team members then taking over fully for any queries not yet converted.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS –

  • Complete the development of GCP data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate claim payment insights and addresses reporting needs across multiple teams and functions.
  • Create and evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data.
  • Effectively communicate status of initiatives to business partners and senior leadership.
  • Facilitate meetings, trainings, and presentations.
  • Utilize BigQuery in GCP and SQL to manipulate and analyze large data sets, generate insights, and support business decision-making.
  • Manage coding staff by setting expectations, assigning work and overseeing work to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
  • Explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.
  • Identify gaps in processes or technology and challenge yourself and others to develop and implement solutions.
  • Use data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions.
  • Share best practices with team members across MCM, PIAB and Service Operations.
  • Continuously identify and solution improvements to current processes using the newest technologies to ensure flexibility for our constantly changing environment, maintain integrity of the data and process, and reduce manual intervention.    

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Proven experience managing complex projects and or programs implementations.
  • Proficient understanding of SQL and Python; must be able to understand coding logic and communicate effectively with both business claim SME’s and Data Engineers.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with different business areas and levels of experience and knowledge.
  • Experience in converting complex information into user friendly data.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a given time.
  • Able to effectively meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills
  • Flexibility to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Familiarity with GCP, Python, Hadoop, MS office, SharePoint and Visio.

EDUCATION -

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
