  • Translate demand forecasts into capacity, resource and shift plans.
  • Prioritize production initiatives and investments to balance short‑term delivery and long‑term capability.

Performance & delivery ownership

  • Own area KPIs: throughput, on‑time delivery, yield, OEE and cost per unit.
  • Drive performance reviews, escalation processes and corrective actions through Senior Production Leads.
  • Ensure robust shift handovers and continuity across multi‑shift operations.

People leadership & capability development

  • Line‑manage and develop Supervisors; set goals, coach and assess leadership performance.
  • Build succession plans and talent pipelines for leadership and critical operator roles.
  • Promote a high‑performance culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Quality, compliance & audit readiness

  • Ensure consistent GMP compliance across production areas and preparedness for internal and external audits.
  • Own major incident and deviation management and ensure sustainable corrective/preventive actions.
  • Oversee change control, validation and qualification activities as they impact production.

Continuous improvement & transformation

  • Sponsor and lead cross‑functional CI programs (Lean, Six Sigma, OEE optimization, digitalization).
  • Deliver productivity, yield and cost improvement projects at scale.
  • Embed data‑driven problem solving and standard work across teams.

Technical & maintenance alignment

  • Coordinate equipment strategy, availability targets and capital requests with Engineering and Maintenance.
  • Prioritize reliability and maintenance improvements that materially impact production KPIs.

Financial & commercial accountability

  • Manage production operating budgets, labor costs and productivity targets.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Planning to minimize stockouts, expedite costs and obsolescence.

Stakeholder management & governance

  • Act as the primary production representative for senior leadership, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Commercial functions.
  • Provide timely reporting, risk assessments and mitigation plans.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Ensure a safe working environment; meet EHS targets and embed risk reduction practices.

Qualifications & Skills
