The Analyst, Store Finance should have knowledge and hands on experience to play the following role:
Monitoring, report and analyze business performance and critical KPIs which define the business
Ensure 100% accuracy and 100% timely deliverables
Be proficient in executive-level reporting with an unmissable level of accuracy
Be comfortable with exploring, collating and gathering data, preparing and automating reports
Support preparation for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly deliverables etc.
Play role of ‘Finance Partner’ and enable business partners to make informed decisions based on drivers of performance by working with functional partners to develop and maintain dashboards, reports and scorecards; Analyze and provide insights and performance analysis; Create deliverables with input from functional partners by collecting and analyzing data; Analyze sensitivity of assumptions by developing scenarios etc.
Work with team members/ stakeholders to understand the business problem to conduct effective analysis
Pursue self-development and effective relationships with others by organizing resources and information; openly sharing information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers; influencing others through technical explanations and examples; seeking performance feedback; adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback
Understand and contribute to ideation and execution of ad-hoc projects
Be a team player, by stepping into business problems which may not be associated with the main business to which he/she may be aligned to
Qualifications & Qualities:
MBA (Finance) or post-graduate in Finance with a B.E or B.Tech or a Software engineering background
1-3 years of experience in Analytics/FP&A/Business Finance preferred
Strong data collection, collation and cleansing skills using advanced coding abilities
Strong independent ownership and drive to make sure projects/deliverables are pushed through
Strong communication skills – being able to manage upward, peers and offshore teams.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel/ MS Office
Knowledge of PowerBI/ Macros/VBA and other basic automation techniques Financial acumen preferred. Having the ability to convert nomenclatures from finance into business and vice-versa.
A work ethic based on strong desire to exceed expectations
Strong interpersonal skills, emphasizing written and oral communication
Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial reports, dashboards for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
Experience working in FMCG / similar industry / retail will be a plus
