Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall project goals. You will engage with various teams to facilitate smooth integration and deployment of software solutions, while also addressing any configuration-related challenges that may arise throughout the project lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their understanding of configuration management. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of configuration processes and suggest improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot. - Good knowledge and hand on experience Java/J2EE based application including experience working on different J2EE frameworks like spring, as well as ORM tools like Hibernate, JPA, etc. - Good knowledge of JavaScript based UI frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS. - Good experience on Application/ Web servers. Tomcat/JBoss preferred. - Experience on build/Integration tools like Maven, Gradle, etc. - Experience on SQL & PL/SQL with PostgreSQL. - Knowledge on building API or extension around 3rd party (OOTB) products. - Basic knowledge on Shell Scripting. - Basic understanding of CI/CD using GitLab. - Experience working in a highly regulated global environment. - Experience in Azure cloud & AKS would be a plus. - Project experience in Operational Risk area, banking industry would be a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 -7 years of experience with relevant degree in Computer Science. - This position is based in Pune. - A 15 years full time education is required.
