About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to support digital software products within the Wealth & Investment Management Money Movement Product organization. This role focuses on delivering innovative, secure, and scalable money‑movement platforms that enable seamless digital transactions for our customers.

The Product Owner will be responsible for end‑to‑end product planning and delivery prioritization. Key responsibilities include managing the product throughout its lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and partnering closely with agile teams to build and enhance digital capabilities. The role also involves working with cross‑functional partners to ensure revenue goals, customer satisfaction targets, and strategic outcomes are achieved in alignment with the product’s overall vision.

Leadership, credibility, and strong communication will be critical for success. Ideal candidates will be articulate, demonstrate strong advocacy skills, and excel in building and managing productive relationships across business and technology teams.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the breakdown of overall product strategy and roadmap into quarterly and sprint level goals and priorities
  • Manage a backlog to deliver prioritized features and corresponding justification based on customer and business value
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition in the relevant product area(s)
  • Perform product demos to customers, partners and other stakeholders
  • Propose delivery estimates to ensure success
  • Track and report on performance metrics and key performance indicators
  • Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations of global market dynamics, trends, and regulatory impact
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team to resolve issues and achieve project goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Agile Product Owner experience in Scrum and scaled Agile environments, using JIRA tools
  • Knowledge of the execution of Money Move transactions and requests in a regulated environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, manage risk, solve problems, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Proven track record of bringing successful products to market on time, incorporating a variety of development and delivery strategies (third party, insourcing, outsourcing)
  • Expertise in navigating matrixed organizations and teams, with proven success in leveraging the right people and resources at the right time for consistent and dependable delivery of optimal value to the customer and the business
  • Ability to assess the impact of new product initiatives on the delivery team environment
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills, including the ability to facilitate decision‑making and broker agreements among diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives and priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in establishing and advocating both customer and delivery team points of view
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills with a bias toward action
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment, making adjustments and course corrections in close partnership with delivery teams
  • Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on the product line, generating creative alternatives and understanding trade‑offs

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
