Provide Tax Guidance in Response to Global Tax Hotline Queries and Engagement Tax Support This position involves working closely with a globally diverse base of internal Accenture clients including the Global Tax Group, engagement teams, Enterprise Finance and the Legal and Commercial groups in order to provide business focused tax advice.   

• Global Tax Hotline Responsibilities include the Following
  • Review and tax advice on client services agreements:

• Determine the transaction taxes applicable to Accenture’s contracts.
• Identify tax costs that must be built into pricing
• Evaluate contract structures and provide advice on any available tax planning opportunities to minimize unnecessary tax costs
• Evaluate contract terms to determine the ability to price and pass tax costs to customer through tax clause
  • Review and advise business team on compliance with internal Accenture tax policies and procedures
  • Educate the business and other Subject Matter Expert (SME) groups on tax issues relevant to deals
  • Advise on proper client invoicing
  • Assist with Accenture finance and business team use of Global Tax Group (GTG) tax tools
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the Global Tax Toolset
  • Develop training materials and deliver tax training to internal Accenture clients
  • Support the Global Tax Group in Accenture internal policy compliance

• Global Tax Hotline Process Responsibilities
  • Review and manage to completion all assigned Global Tax Hotline requests
  • Gather information required for the tax analysis from the internal client either via e-mail or phone conversation
  • Analyze tax information and coordinate review with the Global Tax Group subject matter experts or area tax leads as needed
  • Prepare business focused written tax guidance
  • Provide written and oral tax guidance to internal Accenture client teams and respond to any follow up requests
  • Update and maintain required documentation in GTH database

• Sr Analyst Level Global Tax Hotline Responsibilities
  • Assist GTH leadership team in prioritization and overall management of GTH support requests.
  • Build and maintain positive teaming relationships with internal Accenture engagement team customers and with Global Tax Group area/indirect tax leads.
  • Support global tax group resources in the performance of any special projects or other tax initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Student or Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent is required

Professional Skills Required

• Ability to effectively communicate and cooperatively work with different levels/geographies of Accenture finance and leadership teams,
• Sound English skills, both oral and written,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Keen attention to and documentation of relevant details for tax analyses,
• Business focused writing and oral communications skills,
• Finance and accounting background
• Well organized and Ability to self-manage multiple ongoing tasks to completion.
