About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU department, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team working in a high performing ICU environment.

Things that work for us:

  • Ability to work on a Permanent Part Time basis (ideally 30 hours per week)

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit minimum 2 years

  • Advanced clinical skills, knowledge and experience within ICU including ventilation competency

  • Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently

  • Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability

    Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
