About Footbridge CCU
Footbridge CCU is a 20 bed community residential service for consumers with a mental illness and complex psycho-social issues. The service consists of a mixture of single units and shared units. We operate on the principles of recovery orientated practice, utilizing the strengths model. The service operates 24/7 including night shift.


About the Role

The role of ANUM at Footbridge CCU is both clinical and leadership in nature. The ANUM works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a rehabilitation and recovery service, for people who experience a mental illness, including complex psycho-social issues.

  • Provide case management to a designated number of residents.
  • Lead and support RPN2s and Enrolled Nurses
  • Support the Senior Staff Group in service development at the CCU including the review of clinical processes
  • Coordinate and manage the shift to ensure the provision of high quality consumer-focused care

Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 NP83 - NP74 ($108,435 - $112,091 per annum pro rata)


Your Contribution

  • Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in nursing which meets the registration requirements of AHPRA, Division 1 or 3, and a current Practicing Certificate. 
  • Post registration qualification in relevant area of specialty. 
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in mental health
  • Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
