The Opportunity

The Scheduler is responsible for the booking of shifts, the effective day to day business operations, providing reports on an ad-hoc basis and as requested. This role will establish continuous, innovative improvement of current services in order to provide an enhanced customer service experience.

What You Will Do

  • Schedule all AgeCare staff and ensure all shifts are filled to meet operational needs

  • Prepare and distribute daily assignment sheets for applicable departments

  • Provide front desk coverage and general reception duties

  • Track attendance and maintain accurate documentation to support requests for shift exchanges, vacation, sick leave, and other types of leave

  • Manage sick time and time & attendance records using Kronos/ UKG Dimensions

  • Provide relief coverage for Office Manager duties as needed

  • Maintain inventory levels and order medical supplies for the nursing department

  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team, as appropriate and based on operational priorities

  • Support various office functions and perform other administrative duties as required

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a scheduling or similar administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Certificate or diploma in Office Administration or a related field

  • Experience with Kronos/UKG Dimensions or other scheduling/timekeeping systems is an asset

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Wage Levelling Salary: $24.34 - $28.15 per hour

Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
