CAA has an immediate opening for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management and Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Data team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives, supporting the execution and improvement of cutting-edge data strategies, operations, and processes. You’ll be actively involved in driving data product testing, contributing to exciting data projects, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data operations.

Responsibilities:
Data Product Testing:
Partner with data colleagues to develop and execute test cases for our award winning suite of sophisticated data products.
Identify and document any data issues or inconsistencies.
Partner with data team leadership to understand and make recommendations that improve data quality and associated processes
Evaluate and implement testing automation strategies and tools
Collaborate and communicate with senior team members across different groups to integrate testing processes.
Contribute to Strategic Data Projects:
-Partners with team on planning, execution, and presentation of key data initiatives to colleagues across teams and to senor leadership
Gather and and analyze data requirements for projects.
Collaborate with senior team members to align data activities with business goals.
Break down business requests into user stories for Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering development
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Participate in agile development activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Assist in Data Management Process Improvement:
Analyze current data management practices and make recommendations to improve them
Be highly collaborative across teams to contribute ideas to help streamline, document, and enhance data processes.
Data Management Operations:
Monitor daily data tasks and help ensure accurate data flow.
Participate in efforts to standardize data practices across teams.
Work with colleagues, data vendors, and leadership to resolve data-related issues.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Internship and/or 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, consulting, product management, QA, or a related area
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with building and analyzing dashboards via Data Visualization tools like PowerBI
Basic understanding of data management tools and familiarity with programming concepts.
Familiarity with Product Management tools (ADO, Jira) and frameworks (Agile, Scaled Agile)
Willingness to learn and work with data testing tools and automation basics.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot data inconsistencies.
Eagerness to learn how to identify and solve data-related issues.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced presentation skills (Canva/PowerPoint)
Excellent team player and ability to gain trust quickly with colleagues
Other Requirements:
A passion for continuous learning with an ability to think big, but with a desire to gain specialized skills
Enthusiasm for working with data and proactively improving processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

This role will be based in our New York, NY office; Hybrid
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $67,000 - $75,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
