Duration:  May 5th – August 28th 2026

Type: Student Full Time

Range: $18.50 - $28.50

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to support the organization’s GAME ON strategy and work in a dynamic environment. The Risk Management Student is responsible for supporting a team of professionals responsible for risk management, business resilience, and insurance. Reporting to the Director, Risk Management the student will have opportunities to participate in planning and executing risk assessments, reporting activities, research, documentation and other team initiatives.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

  • Creating and maintaining departmental documentation including plans, schedules, process maps, presentations, guides, manuals, etc. 

  • Conducting research, analysis, problem solving and drafting recommendations 

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of practices and frameworks for risk management and business resilience   

  • Supporting the planning and execution of risk management initiatives

  • Performing data entry into multiple systems 

  • Managing risk management documentation, including tracking updates and ensuring accurate version control 

  • Other work as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Business Administration, Economics or Finance program is an asset) 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook 

  • Ability to apply research and analytical skills to gather, assess and summarize information 

  • A team player with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills 

  • Effective organization skills, time management and attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment 

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills along with the ability to follow directions and deal with sensitive/confidential information in a professional manner 

  • Experience with Power BI, AI technology (Microsoft CoPilot), developing AI agents is an asset 

  • Work experience or knowledge of risk management, business resilience, or insurance is an asset
