The AGI Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end biweekly payroll process for all US and/or Canadian team members. Must be detail oriented, self-starter and a team player that can work with minimum supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compiles data for a bi-weekly multi-state US payroll or Canadian Payroll
  • Oversees timekeeping submissions from field locations and submits biweekly payroll for US and/or Canada
  • Enters payroll information for incentives, referral bonus, garnishment refunds, and retroactive or benefit refunds
  • Review calculations and audit reports ensuring the accuracy of a payroll
  • Reviews and submits Record of Employment reports for Canadian Employees
  • Payroll discrepancies research and resolution, including responding to EE questions
  • Understand military time
  • Attention to detail and possess and excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work with big data
  • Performs other payroll duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator or similar role
  • Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software (Preferred Workday and ADP Smart Compliance)
  • Need strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas etc)
  • Excellent analytical skills, need to be able to work with big data
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines
  • BS in Human Resources Management, Accounting or relevant field

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of state and federal pay regulations
  • Ability to work independently to resolve payroll issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to adhere to a tight deadline
  • Need strong Excel skills and able to work with big data
  • Experience with Workday Payroll preferred

LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:

  • Headquarters, Miamai, FL
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
  • Must work in office
