JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE 

  • The role is responsible for leading and managing the sales team within the assigned territory to drive business growth and expand market share.
  • This position ensures the execution of effective sales and promotional activities that strengthen the company’s market leadership.
  • The role also provides direct leadership to Clinical Sales Specialists, ensuring they deliver timely and accurate technical support to physicians during clinical cases while achieving assigned sales targets.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own and manage the quarterly LBE, ensuring accuracy and accountability for all financial and operational inputs.
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly demand forecasts to Demand Planners by analyzing hospital usage trends and incorporating new product introductions or replacements for obsolete products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers to enhance engagement and drive business growth.
  • Gather and analyze field intelligence to assess Abbott’s market position and market share relative to key competitors.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of all technical issues related to EP equipment.
  • Ensure all required approvals for HCP events are secured, and manage associated responsibilities including logistics, venue coordination, and support for trade shows, product launches, and customer events.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs within the assigned territory—aligned with Asia Marketing initiatives—to drive market expansion and business growth.
  • Coordinate logistics, venue arrangements, and on‑site support for trade shows, product launches, and customer events.
  • Travel and participate in marketing events as assigned by the Country Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Health Sciences, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in innovative cardiology medical devices or advanced healthcare technologies.

  • At least 3 years of proven people management experience, with a strong track record in coaching, developing, and leading highperforming teams.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a business unit or function to achieve sales, operational, and financial targets.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and build trust across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent administrative, documentation, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and consistent followthrough.

  • Ability to work crossfunctionally and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, highly dynamic environment.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to Abbott Medical Asia and Abbott Medical Singapore policies.
  • Execute all responsibilities in full compliance with applicable standard operating procedures, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Champion operational excellence by ensuring SOPs are consistently followed and continuously upheld across all activities.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and special assignments as directed by the supervisor, contributing to team success and broader organizational goals.
