Work Location: This is an onsite role and requires the candidate to be based at our Johor Bahru factory in a Cleanroom work environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.   

  • Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, on robotic systems being assembled.   

  • Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to specifications. 

  • Contribute to developing techniques, processes, and practices that advance the organization's effectiveness.   

  • May lead major project initiatives and act as group leader.   

  • Expected to mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior staff members. 

  • Work as part of a team to resolve the most complex problems. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications & Competencies: 

  • Mechanical or Electrical knowledge with 3-5 years of relevant experience 

  • Strong electrical & mechanical skills 

  • Able to read measurement tools, perform I/O check and troubleshooting 

  • Assembly experience (electrical/mechanical) 

  • Ability to read mechanical part/assembly drawings, pneumatic schematics, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams 

  • Semiconductor Equipment and/or cleanroom experience a plus 

  • Experience with industrial robots a plus 

  • Problem solving mind-set
