Main functions:

• Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities for LR LATAM Markets aimed at achieving commercial and brand objectives.

• Drive and lead the launch preparation, readiness and execution for Mavacamten and Luspatercept across all territories (10)

• Support assessing new product launches and/or indications (e.g. preparing business opportunity assessment).

• Carry out market analysis (design/implement action and monitoring plans, SFE metrics, market audits and market  insights).

• Know the insights of the main stakeholders/decision makers and trends in pathology.

• Develop promotional and educational materials jointly with other areas.

• Identify and understand a variety of financial resources/systems, access, promotional, etc. necessary when implementing marketing plans and achieve results.

• Prepare marketing plans, sales plans, financial projections and investment plan.

• Monitor potential deviations/performance indicators.

• Manage investment and expense budgets.

• Continuously collaborate with the Regional Champion to provide feedback regarding projects and initiatives related to the brand.

• Participate in National and International Congresses.

• Establish solid contacts with Opinion Leaders and Medical Societies.

• Build solid relationships with key areas of the company: Access, Medical, Sales, Finance, Business Excellence, as well as with colleagues from the other business units and Latin American countries.

Skills, Competencies and Knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build internal/external relationships and work with highly diverse functional teams.
  • Understand the health system, its policies and the short, medium and long-term impact with brands from BMS
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills.
  • Knowledge of strategic thinking to identify business opportunities for high-cost products.
  • Quick reaction to changes in the environment.
  • Goal-oriented, aligning individual goals with team goals, and clear communication for effective collaboration.
  • Strong work ethic and positive demeanor/attitude.

Education / Experience / Languages

  • Education
    • Professional in areas of Health and/or management/marketing careers.
  • Experience
    •  +5 years of marketing experience in High Cost drugs, preferably Cardiovascular and/or Hematology specifically.
    •  +10 years of experience in the marketing area of the pharmaceutical industry.
    • + 5 years experience in multinational companies
    • Regional experience across marketing or commercial functions
    • Ideally with previous sales experience
    • Ideally with previous experience with distribution models

  • Languages
    • Spanish and English 100% fluent (written, spoken)
  • Key Competency Requirements
    • Superior disease Area knowledge and understanding marketing strategy and execution
    • In-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area (CV and /or Hemato)
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant BMS products highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
    • Knowledge of product launch preparation, readiness and execution
