Location: Hyderabad Job Description Summary: We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to sell products from LifeScience and applied genomics portfolio in a manner that positively reflects the company image. The Area Sales Manager will achieve sales growth, market share gain and erosion targets in assigned accounts in Hyderabad/Andhra Pradesh region. You will maintain and expand business with new customers with high customer satisfaction. These products are focused platforms selling within the LifeScience portfolio, including High content screening, In Vivo Imaging Solutions and Multimode Detection Readers, automation solutions and Applied Genomics Portfolio from Revvity etc for multiple applications. Area Sales Manager should have a good understanding of pharma workflow as well as tender capex business.

• Increase sales volumes, achieve, and possibly overachieve the sales targets on his/her territory in respect of Revvity.
• Sell the company’s products or services directly to end-users and Manage Distributors in the Territory.
• Develop new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry or product segment.
• Identify customer needs and trends and presents Revvity products and support services to customers appropriately and effectively.
• Ensure the territory prospect pipeline is populated with a balance of short, mid and long term prospects sufficient for the continuous attainment of territory half year targets.
• Actively sells the increased value of Revvity products and services and always negotiates the best price thus minimizing price erosion.
• Facilitate in solving customer problems in Matrix Structure.
• Provide and maintain account mapping on all accounts and maintains accurate customer and prospect information.
• Listen to customer requirements and presents appropriately to make a sale
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
• Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
• Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
• Creates detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective customer
• Review his own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
• Attend team meeting and share best practice with colleagues.
• Close sales opportunities and regularly updating SFDC

Education:-

Any graduate/post graduate (preferably Science)

Required work experience related to position:-

• 8-12 Years in Life Sciences/Drug Discovery Equipment and Consumables Sales/BD
• Proven track record in life sciences sales, particularly in pharma and capex business
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various sectors
• Self-motivated and results-driven individual with adept negotiation skills.
• Collaborative team player willing to share knowledge and support colleagues.

Special Skills:-

• Willingness to travel in the Territory 10-15 days a month.
• Resourceful and Customer Oriented
• Six to eight years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred.
• One year of prior CP management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.
• Strong intrapersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
• Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
• Positive and enthusiastic.
