The Business Process Lead is a pivotal role within the Transitions & Service Team, sitting at the intersection of project management and business analysis. Working closely with Delivery teams, this role focuses on what is being delivered across our platforms and successfully transitioned into our Operational teams. While this is not a people management position, it carries clear leadership accountability, requiring strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ownership of business readiness outcomes.

The role is responsible for planning, tracking, and delivering all core business readiness activities, including business processes and procedures, testing and system readiness, training, and communications. You will collaborate with multiple departments to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop training and test plans, and ensure all operational requirements are in place. The ultimate objective is to ensure teams are fully prepared and trained, enabling a smooth and effective transition into Operations.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Provide engagement and support to ensure the effective delivery of operational acceptance testing, process and procedure updates, business requirement reviews, client engagement, and vendor support for services delivered to Australian clients.
  • Act as a trusted first point of contact, providing accurate information on service propositions, resolving issues, and escalating matters to the appropriate teams where required.
  • Support clients and internal teams by providing factual information to enable informed decision making and ensure service objectives are met.
  • Review new and re‑engineered processes end‑to‑end, including gap analysis, process improvement, design, documentation, operational readiness, and implementation.
  • Ensure process changes are embedded and well understood across the business through clear procedures and training documentation.
  • Develop and design realistic testing scenarios and test plans that reflect operational business conditions and can be reused across current and future initiatives.
  • Lead and manage project activities including initiation, planning, execution, and delivery of implementation tasks and outcomes.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Undertake post implementation reviews, capture lessons learned, and actively contribute to ongoing operational and customer experience initiatives.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian financial services landscape, including regulatory obligations
  • Experience supporting superannuation, wealth, and financial advisory services within a platform environment
  • Subject matter expertise in business process and procedure documentation
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and delivery tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Teams
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability
  • Confident, proactive, and able to take initiative in a client‑ and delivery‑focused environment
  • Self‑motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing positively as a team player.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

What is in it for you?

  • Be part of a highly successful, rapidly growing global business that is leading the delivery of financial services and partners with some of the world’s largest companies.
  • Remuneration and career advancement is based on individual contribution and business impact rather than tenure or seniority.
  • We provide significant financial rewards for high performing individuals.
  • Join our growing Kuala Lumpur based team, offering autonomy, pace, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic operational environment
